It's easy, fun and rewarding to attend a Group Event at Wilderness Edge Retreat and Conference Centre! My name is Kevin Penner, President, and I would like to personally welcome you and your group to Wilderness Edge. We are a place for every generation, walk of life and ethnicity. It's a place to build exciting new friendships and reset personal goals. Attending a Group Event?
Simply provide your group leader with your stay preferences, contact information and alert them to any special dietary requirements and we will work together with your leader to create a totally customized stay package and submit it. Retreat from the hectic
Wilderness Edge provide a tranquil retreat from hectic city life. Step outside our doors and take in the stunning river and boreal forest views. Find yourself in awe of the many deer and wildlife that wander our property. From our back yard you can start your walk along the Ironwood trail or take one of our many complementary bikes down to the Swinging Bridge or Old Pinawa Dam.
Our Facility
As the largest Retreat and Conference Centre between Winnipeg and Thunderbay we believe in our mission to provide the essence of old fashioned Prairie hospitality. Located in central Canada, 1 hour from Winnipeg, our 10,000 sq ft conference areas, 82,000 sq ft facility, 115 guest rooms, 400 bed spaces, 30 seat theatre and 11 acres of river front property allow us to host a variety of events. With 25,000 estimated overnight stays annually and growing we are a favorite choice for group leaders in both Canada and the US.
Our Service and Value mission
The ownership and staff of Wilderness Edge believe in providing service above all, and at prices that make our venue often sold out 12 to 24 months in advance. No other place in Manitoba can offer such a setting and come close to matching our value/price structure. Two night stays with meals start from just $42.50 per person/per night, with our highest end offering at $79.50 per person/per night for our Couples Suite Dbl occ. for a weekend. We offer a variety of guest rooms including those with fireplaces, authentic Manitoba Made log beds and spacious living space. The hotel type rooms offer individuals a huge step forward in privacy and convenience in comparison to traditional 'Camp' style dorms. Each year we are chosen to host local, national, international and high profile conferences and retreats.
