Since 1975 the Charleswood Ski Club has provided Winnnipeg and the surrounding area cross country skiers an opportunity to meet one another, share experiences, and ski in small groups rather than alone. The club caters to skiers of all skill levels. Our membership is comprised of families and individuals of all ages and abilities. Ski lessons by certified ski instructors are arranged early in the ski season (hill and skill review) to encourage beginners to learn the basics, and allow experienced skiers to tune up their technique. In November there is a ski seminar. A Club Newsletter is published approximently eight times a year to inform members of events. But that's not all. We also have fair weather activities, such as, hiking, canoeing, and in-line skating.
