Child Evangelism Fellowship of Canada
Child Evangelism Fellowship®, also known as CEF®, is a Bible-centred, worldwide organization composed of born-again believers whose purpose is to evangelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to establish (disciple) them in the local church for Christian living. Our concern in seeking to evangelize children is that, "not one of these little ones should perish." They need to have a church family in which to "grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord Jesus Christ."
The Word of God puts a high priority on children. They are near to God's heart and we believe that He is uniquely concerned about their spiritual welfare. Without the foundation of a relationship with God and training in Biblical principles for life they are unequipped to face what life will throw at them.
With workers in more than 150 countries around the world CEF has personal, individual ministry with more than 6 million children each year. The world headquarters of CEF is in Warrenton, Missouri. Today there are more than 2,500 full-time staff internationally. CEF was founded by Jesse Irvin Overholtzer in 1937.
