Pinawa Quilting Weekend “Women of the Cloth” Wilderness Edge Conference & Retreat Centre January 28 – 30, 2011 Friday 2:00 pm to Sunday 4:00 pm Join us in a relaxed setting for a weekend of quilting. Bring as many projects as you would like to work on in one of the quilting rooms. Excellent meals, snacks and friendly staff all make for a memorable and enjoyable quilting weekend. The retreat centre is located in the town of Pinawa, just under 1 ½ hours from downtown Winnipeg. Download map for directions – see website: www.wildernessedge.ca We have 60 sewing stations for sewing machines, plus a room for hand quilters. Ironing stations are provided. What to bring: Quilting/sewing supplies for your project. Straight pins with ball ‘heads’ (so they aren’t lost in the carpet). Your sewing machine if you are machine piecing. Quilts, wall hangings, table runners, etc. for show and tell with a special emphasis on batiks this year. Non-quilting items such as: swim suit for hot tub, boots for hiking trails, PJ’s, etc. Cost includes: 2 nights accommodation, coffee breaks and meals, and three common meeting/quilting areas. Friday supper is NOT provided. There will be a snack at 9:00 pm.
