Amazing Location

Our terrific location gives our staff the best of both worlds. Located directly on the Winnipeg River and surrounded by the Whiteshell Provincial Park, we enjoy the very best of what Manitoba has to offer. Organization and Attention to Detail

While we are open to and encourage our staff to bring new ideas, we also have a wealth of knowledge of what has worked at each department in the past. Once hired, our staff is given progressively more responsibility in their tasks and positions within the organization. We welcome and reward people that take initiative and are always looking to promote those who are characterized over time by a great attitude and work ethic.

Staff Orientation

Our staff orientation provided by our Managers in the work place is structured to give you all the tools you will need to be successful throughout the year. We are eager to help you and we hire employees who want to succeed. Staff orientation is a wonderful opportunity for staff to feel comfortable at our facility before they are given the full weight of responsibility. Working closley with a manager will help you to understand our philosophy and work structure and also a chance to meet and get to know the other staff.

Small Camp Feel

Wilderness Edge is a centre with approximately 50 - 200 guests at any given time. As Managers, we are actively involved in the day to day running of the centre and we like to play, laugh and enjoy the year with our guests and staff. Our staff and attending guests are large enough where you can meet lots of people, but it is small enough where a special bond forms that doesn't take place at most businesses.

We are fortunate to have over 8 years of tradition built into every season and growing! While we add new activities, programs and special events each year, the core of Wilderness Edge is a time tested tradition.
