Hey, I’m Elisha.  Hi, I’m Brock.  It’s my 30th birthday party.  Woohoo!!  I wanted it to be really special, to have the ultimate birthday party where all our friends can come, they could spend the night, we could do such fun things.  We decided to have it at Wilderness Edge Resort in Pinawa.

The food was great and they just catered to all your needs.  Ah there is hot tubbing, there’s a sauna, there’s the firepit, and we did all that and we had a great room called the Pinawa Room where everybody could just come hang out.

We played Mario Cart, we had games going, ahh it was just so fun the first night.  But then first thing in the morning, 8:30, they have breakfast waiting for us.  Breakfast ready.  Everybody comes in out of their rooms, walks in to the main dining area which is beautiful.  We’re looking outside out at the deer and the sunrise…amazing.

Then we organized with Kevin.  He says head over to the curling rink 3 blocks that way, you just walk there and there’s some sheets of ice rented.  So we all went curling for 2 hours and it was so fun!  26 of us…everyone of them said it was AMAZING!  And… uh only 2 of us had ever done it before…yah, it was so much fun. We’re slipping on the ice, It’s way harder than it looks.  Umm, everyone had a great time!  We had to get back to Wilderness Edge because they had lunch waiting for us.

Yah… So again everyone had fun eating with their friends.  Everything was catered to us.  We just…it was good for kids and adults, great for kids, kids loved it.  They could run around, uh, I had crafts going on here, we had crafts, we had rocket launching…yah, and we had a Christmas gift exchange…yup, it was just really fun and then in the end we all just had cake and just mingled with one another and partied in the Pinawa room and it was just a great facility.

So if you’re ever thinking of something to do or somewhere to go, Wilderness Edge is DEFINITELY an awesome place and you will not be disappointed!
